Mikaela Power returned to Gippsland in 1997 after establishing the Media Analysis Unit at Rehame, a national media monitoring service based in Melbourne. Mikaela played a key role in internal and external facilitation of group processes at Gippsland Water. Successful projects included enabling a series of projects to improve customer services and facilitating an extended community consultation regarding water quality issues in the Rawson and Erica communities. Mikaela has worked with a State-wide forum of local government agencies providing services for people with disabilities and has assisted them with the development of a planned approach to their activities. Mikaela has the capacity to bring positive and constructive focus to workgroups needing to achieve consensus. She draws on all her experience as a communications professional to ensure that realistic objectives are planned and met. |
